Our History
Aeolus is a small, productive AVA vineyard property seated at the eastern base of Willamette Valley's Eola-Amity Hills. Vine rows rest on a gentle slope with north-south orientation. Our vines are an average 18 years of age, planted on phylloxera-resistant rootstock. Our History
Located in the Eola-Amity AVA region of the Central Willamette Valley wine growing region of Oregon. The soils of the Eola-Amity Hills contain predominantly volcanic basalt from ancient lava flows, combined with marine sedimentary rocks and/or alluvial deposits, making a generally much shallower and rockier set of well-drained soils which produce small grapes with great concentration.
